If you need to warm up a little bit this winter, Starbucks can help with a new menu that's perfect for chilly mornings, cozy afternoons and everything in between. It includes a new beverage — the Cortado, a perfectly balanced espresso-based drink that offers a rich and smooth flavor — plus new foods like a vegan falafel wrap, catering to the growing demand for plant-based options on the go.
Starbucks' newly expanded winter menu introduces the Cortado, which is made with three ristretto shots of Blonde Espresso and steamed whole milk. There's also a Brown Sugar Oatmilk Cortado, which is made with Blonde Espresso, brown sugar syrup, cinnamon and steamed oatmilk.
The menu also includes a Matcha Latte (both hot and iced). Matcha Lattes have been on the menu since last year, but they can now be customized — you can choose your sweetness level, similar to traditional matcha and boba shops.
More new offerings include the Pistachio Latte, available hot, iced or as a Frappuccino, and the Pistachio Cream Cold Brew, sweetened with vanilla syrup and topped with smooth pistachio cream cold foam and salted brown buttery sprinkles.
And there are several new food items, like the brand new New Spicy Falafel Pocket, which comes with vegan falafel, hummus, roasted red bell peppers, pickled onions and spicy herb sauce inside a toasted lavash flatbread. For pastry fans, there's a Vanilla Bean Custard Danish. And don't skip the Valentine Cake Pop for a perfectly sweet bite of vanilla cake mixed with buttercream and red chocolate icing.
