The biggest news is the better range. The new AirTag offers up to 1.5 times the precision-finding range compared to the original model, thanks to improvements in Ultra Wideband technology. That means you can locate lost items from farther away using Precision Finding on compatible Apple devices, with clearer directional guidance and distance feedback when you’re closing in.

Apple also focused on overall findability.
